Mini Kim...

Kelsey is a visual learner. She watches other people and then mimicks their behaviors. She is always watching things we do and tries to copy. Tonight she pulled my computer off the arm of the couch and propped it up on her lap and began typing away. She uses both hands and goes to town. It is so cute. I know the hair is a little wild...this is what it looks like when it is not pulled back. She'd just had her hair dried after a bath. So, she looks like a shaggy dog! :)

Kelsey is a BIG girl!!

Tonight Kelsey pee-peed in the potty for the 1st time!! YEA!! We are so proud of her. We have not been pushing potty training. She has expressed interest and we've just followed her lead.

Boyd's Orchard

Saturday we met Christine and David at Boyd's Orchard to pick some apples. Kelsey wasn't as excited about picking the apples, but she loved playing in the playground area. She loved the big slide and went down it several times. She is so fearless.

Potty Training?!

Kelsey has started to express some interest in potty training. So, we got out her little toilet. Now we can't keep her off it. She strips her diaper off and runs for the potty. She hasn't done anything yet, but she loves sitting on it. At least it has a squishy seat because she is on it alot. Last night she was "reading" while sitting there. When Rusty picked her up she threw a full on 2-year old temper tantrum. Now, how do we get her to realize what she is suppose to do when she sits there?!

WEBN Fireworks

We took Kelsey to the WEBN fireworks in Cincinnati. We watched the fireworks from The Children's Home of Northern Kentucky. It was so nice. The kids had big bounce houses and obstacle courses to play on as well as other little carnival games to play. Plus there was food and musical entertainment for everyone to enjoy. We had a really good time before the fireworks and then the actual fireworks wer amazing. They lasted a good 40 minutes and were very good. So, here are a few pictures of our time there.
