Happy Halloween!!

Here are is our Hula Girl and Beach Bum...

Today we went to Capital City Christian for Trunk or Treating. She was a little intimidated by the costumes. She was easily frightened. But, she still had a good time. Here she is hiding.
We ran into her cousins: Abbey & Emily. They all went down the big slide.

Kelsey and Mommy loved the big, inflatable slide. Here is a short video.

Trick or Treating at the library

Today Grampy & Ya-Ya took Kelsey to the library to trick or treat. The kids got to listen to 5 different stories that were read by the story book characters and then got a little treat. Kelsey was scared by some of the costumes, but did okay.

As you can see Kelsey is a hula girl this year. She wasn't wild about wearing her lei, but was eventually convinced! Geez...hope she does okay with it tomorrow!

Pumpking Carving

Well, it took a few weeks, but we finally got our pumpkin carved. We had two, but one of them was a little too soft on the bottom. Kelsey did not enjoy it as much this year. She didn't want to touch the pumpkin seeds and help scoop out the yucky stuff. She is not a fan of getting her hands dirty. So, she mainly supervised Rusty and I!

Bi-Water Farm

Today we made a trip to Georgetown to Bi-Water Farm. Kelsey got to paint a pumpkin at Totter Otterville yesterday, but today we got to pick out the pumpkins we are going to carve. The Bi-Water Autumnfest was amazing. There were slides, an animal petting/feeding area, a corn maze, haunted houses, pumpkins, train rides, hay rides, playground, etc. It went on and on and on and Kelsey loved all of it. She had to try out everything. We ended up leaving with 2 good pumpkins that we are going to try to carve later this week.

Laundry!

We do laundry every Sunday and Kelsey loves to jump and play in the clothes. This morning she got pretty cozy...

Totter Otterville

Today we took Kelsey to Totter Otterville in Covington. Kelsey had a great time. This place was amazing! First she played in the balls and on the indoor slide. Then we moved to the animal hospital, the puppet room, the ballet bar, the grocery store, and then headed outside. There she fished, drew with sidewalk chalk, played in the sand, rode the trolley, walked through the maze with Grampy, and roasted marshmallows. THEN, we went back inside and played some carnival games and painted a pumpkin. We were there 4 hours and still didn't get to play with everything. The rest of the day we shopped around Florence and had a great time. Here are som pictures from our busy day.

Our furry, woodland creatures

To be in a residential neighborhood, we have a lot of furry friends. It is very common to see deer relaxing in the backyard. When we came home tonight we found 5 deer laying out back. They never moved or seemed bothered by us coming home and watching them.

Kim's Last Cake from Course 1

Okay, so here is my final cake from my 1st cake decorating course. I'm pleased with it. Of course, it could be better. But, I'm still learning.
